We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in the vibrant community of West Norfolk. Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support required to succeed.
- Facilitate small group sessions to reinforce learning objectives and cater to individual student needs.
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to help students achieve their educational goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of students.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping students overcome challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to implement educational strategies and activities.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are desirable.
