IT Service Transition Manager
A top global FTSE listed organization is looking for an IT Service Transition Manager to join their business. Central London based, hybrid working, Outside IR35.
The role will be critical in ensuring the seamless transition of new service lines into Group. This role involves setting up a helpdesk for NewCo, ensuring that ServiceNow is up to date with relevant knowledge, and working closely with external service partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, transition, excellent project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding existing applications service/support model
- Creating Service Impact Assessment for all applications in scope by working closely with the functional leads aligned with the desired target architecture/model
- Creating Service Transition Plans for each application where the need is identified as part of the impact assessment - including timelines, resource allocation and risk management strategies
- Working with service providers around contract transitions/extensions where needed as well as executing transition if the decision is to transition into existing service line
- Working closely with the project lead & relevant vendor making sure knowledge transfer/documentation is provided
- Making sure receiving support team is integrated to the hypercare plan as pat of the shadow & active support during hypercare
- Establish a helpdesk for NewCo
- Develop and maintain helpdesk processes
- Ensure that ServiceNow is up to date with relevant knowledge - service catalogue, articles and incident management processes
Experience required:
- Proven experience in IT Service Management with a focus on service transition
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in ServiceNow
- Experience working with external Service Partners
- ITIL certification is highly desirable
