Production Operative
- Annual Salary: Up to £33,000
- Location: Near Thatcham
- Job Type: Full-time, Shift Work (including nights 1 week per month)
We are seeking a Production Operative to manage large machinery operations within our facility. This role involves setting up machinery, performing maintenance, and ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery and be comfortable with shift work, including night shifts for one week each month.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate and manage large-scale industrial machinery.
- Set up machinery for daily operations and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any machinery issues.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor machinery output and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet targets and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial machinery is desirable.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety practices in a production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform maintenance tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights.
