About the Role:Hays Senior Finance are seeking a Interim Management Accountant to join a reputable NHS organisation in the Newton Abbot area, South Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who has previously worked within the NHS or is keen to contribute to this vital sector on a temporary basis. This temporary role will be for a minimum of 3 months on a timesheet basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial reports and statements
- Conduct budget planning and forecasting
- Monitor and control expenditure against budgets
- Provide financial advice and support to various departments
- Ensure compliance with NHS financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the NHS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
