The Procurement Manager will work with all functions of the EV business to develop and maintain our supply chain for the effective delivery and maintenance Hub deployment, ancillary revenues and development opportunities. This role supports Senior Commercial and Operational roles by ensuring that rigour is applied to all procurement activities. The role will deliver the following activities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for goods and services within the EV Business, ensuring compliance with company rules.
- Lead contractual negotiations with key suppliers, including NDA's, T&C's, and engineering/construction contracts.
- Plan and manage procurement processes, including tender management and procurement agenda oversight.
- Produce and analyse monthly supply chain reports to identify trends, providing insights to the management team.
- Oversee cost management initiatives, identify purchasing efficiencies, and support the development of purchasing policies and procedures.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Considerable experience working within a procurement environment.
- Purchasing qualifications (CIPS L3) or equivalent.
- A strong electrical engineering knowledge – ideally in an EV environment.
- Experience of commercial interaction including negotiation, contract, and supplier management.
