As an Account Director, you'll take overall responsibility for a group of client accounts across leisure and travel, hospitality, FMCG and third sector. You'll effectively lead, drive and develop an award winning team of people in delivering an excellent creative product and strategy, whilst providing outstanding client service and ensuring account profitability

Description

  • Manage and develop new and existing client relationships, striving to exceed their expectations to encourage client retention whilst pushing them creatively and strategically
  • Drive client strategy providing continuous strategic direction and input to key decision making and planning activity
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of client objectives, working collaboratively to deliver campaigns to achieve these objectives and pushing colleagues to exceed creatively and strategically
  • Oversee the provision of high quality creative briefs, idea generation and campaign execution across multiple platforms from print to digital, ensuring all campaigns adhere to relevant legal and regulatory restrictions
  • Responsible for ensuring account team members are effectively managed and coached ensuring that they work to their best ability and have the opportunities and support to develop
  • Develop and maintain a high level of financial skill and commercial understanding

Profile

We're looking to speak to candidates with a proven background within marketing and advertising agencies - we're inviting candidates at Account Manager or Account Director level to apply.

  • Experience aross advertising, direct marketing, sales promotion and digital disciplines
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong conceptual thinking and an excellent appreciation of the creative process
  • A passion for creativity and a confidence in sharing own views on creativity and creative product
  • Excellent commercial acumen and financial understanding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
