Client Administrator

My client is a well-established and forward-thinking professional services company based in Bury St Edmunds.

Your new role
This is a newly created Client Administrator job working as part of a wider administration team. You will be working closely with the manager, this varied job which will involve dealing with all client onboarding and administrative duties. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and add client records on to the database.
  • Deal with database issues in accordance with compliance procedures.
  • Client ID checks, confirming all information received from clients or digital systems.
  • Undertake Electronic checks with ID supplied.
  • Escalate any matters which require further investigation by the manager.
  • Liaise with all staff and other colleagues when it comes to completing any client's onboard tasks.
  • Ensure that all tasks are undertaken in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance and other regulatory requirements.
  • Arrange for closure and re-opening of files.
  • Maintain the client documents registers, including entering new records.
  • Deal with document retrieval requests.
  • Assist with morning post deliveries.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this job, you will require either professional services, legal, court, accountancy or financial services administrative experience. You will be a methodical and process-led worker, who is meticulous with detail and has the ability to spot anomalies in data. This job needs a clear thinker and logical worker who works well in a small team and is happy to communicate across the wider business. This job requires strong analytical and research skills, excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as high levels of accuracy and a 'hands on' approach to your work.
