Finance Administrator – Crumlin
SALARY: £12.82 – £14.36 per hour
EMPLOYMENT: Temporary (2-3 months), full-time (37.5 hours), office-based
Reed Accountancy is partnered with a reputable and established business in Crumlin in the appointment of a Finance Administrator to join their busy team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful Finance Administrator would be responsible for the most critical business area of the business; the management of income, including invoicing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of sales invoices to customers on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness with the management system.
- Dealing with queries relating to invoices
- Support for evolution of business and businesses partners - long term forecasting
- Analysis of customer data for management and other reporting
- Digitalisation of the finance processes, including dashboarding through BI.
- Business Partner of Group Data Team, including negotiation of future renewals of contracts
- Provide information on fees and charges to handling agents and answering queries regarding the management system
- On a monthly basis, checking the control file, updating rebates summaries, writing up journals, printing statistical reports, sending out statements, and reconciliations for various accounts
- Obtain customer prepayments and guarantees as required and in advance of operations commencing.
- Debt reporting and management of debtors
- General office administration as required
What you need to succeed:
- General Education to include GCSE Maths and English grade C and above or equivalent
- Experience of working within an MRP/ERP platform
- Experience using software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Databases.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadline.
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
