They are seeking a dynamic Management Accountant to join their Bangor office as a Management Accountant on a temporary basis with the view of going permanent for the right candidate.
Description
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Oversee routine accounting operations including ledger accounts, financial statements, and cost control systems.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline and improve financial processes.
- Produce financial reports and interpret financial information for the management team.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Engage in financial auditing and tax planning.
- Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in strategic financial projects and initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify efficiency gains and cost savings.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
