About the Business
An opportunity to be an Accountant for a financial services company based in Birmingham, who pride themselves on their flexible working patterns. This position offers a great opportunity for a highly organised and driven individual in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Main Duties:
As an Accountant_,_ your main duties include:
- The review (and sometimes preparation) of statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Tax planning
- Client review meetings
- Ad hoc tasks such as tax enquiries, tax clearances, forecasting, and budgeting
- Taking a leadership role in the business
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with two days in the office based near Birmingham, but the business is flexible over working hours. There is a close-knit team of 30 professionals operating across the UK.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Flexibility
- The ability to talk to clients in simple terms
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification. CIMA will also be considered
- The ability to work in a team
- Experience in practice is desirable
