Rental Agent

We are looking for an experienced Rental Agent to join the team of a successful motor dealership in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, as well as providing professional advice and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
o Greet customers warmly and provide an outstanding rental experience.
o Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
o Assist customers in choosing the right vehicle to meet their needs.
- Rental Transactions:
o Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
o Handle payments, deposits, and other financial transactions.
o Inspect rental vehicles upon return and document any damages or discrepancies.
- Vehicle Management:
o Ensure the fleet is maintained in top condition, including cleanliness and routine checks.
o Coordinate with the maintenance team for any necessary repairs or services.
o Manage vehicle inventory and availability to maximize rentals.
o Monitor and manage the Mobex system ensuring car classes are correct
- Sales and Marketing:
o Promote additional services and products to enhance the rental experience.
o Identify opportunities to increase rental volume and customer retention.
- Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records of all rental transactions.
o Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a rental agency is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license with a maximum of 9 points on driving record.
