Our client, a printing company based in Swindon, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Executive role must possess strong sales experience and can generate leads and sales of printed goods by both calling and visiting local businesses in person. The clients' main products are customised clothing, PPE, uniforms, equipment, decorations, accessories and more.

Business Development Executive responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Call current and prospective clients to generate leads and sales of printed goods.
  • Client Visits: Travel to and visit local Swindon businesses to generate sales and keeping a record of activity and communications.
  • Developing Client Relationships: Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research and analyse data to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Working closely with other departments to align efforts and ensure client satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong sales experience.
  • Experience in the printing industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and driven attitude.

Additional information:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum with a competitive commission scheme.
  • Flexible hours (Monday to Friday), even part-time options available.
  • Swindon office-based position with local travel.
  • Driving license required. Over 30s will not require a car.
