Locum Band 5 Biomedical Scientist Role

Location: Northwest England
Experience Requirements: Paid NHS UK experience is highly preferred.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 1st December 2024
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

  • Perform histological procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results with attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • UK experience in NHS setup preferred. Paid UK experience is mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience in histology within a clinical laboratory setting.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Experience in quality control and assurance processes.
