Locum Band 5 Biomedical Scientist Role
Location: Northwest England
Experience Requirements: Paid NHS UK experience is highly preferred.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 1st December 2024
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform histological procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and health and safety regulations.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results with attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- UK experience in NHS setup preferred. Paid UK experience is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience in histology within a clinical laboratory setting.
Desirable Qualities:
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Experience in quality control and assurance processes.
