Rapier Employment are currently looking for Drivers Mates to join our well-established client based in Abingdon. A vehicle will be provided by site for company use only.
** This role will require someone to stay away between Monday-Friday and will vary on customer jobs being worked on. All weather PPE will be supplied **
Pay rate:
£12.00 during probation, increasing to £13.00 if successful.
Work days/hours:
Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work. 45-hours per week with overtime paid at time and a half.
Times:
Approx 06:00 starts at the yard. If working away, start times will vary depending on customer requirements.
Travel:
A vehicle is provided by site for company use only. The vehicle must be left at the companies main yard when not being used for work.A full UK licence is required for this role.
Main role to include, but not limited to:
- Ability to install and remove products from customer sites and follow exact instructions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (day, night, occasional weekends).
- Operate heavy equipment (crane) when required.
- Must be able to adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and rules.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug/alcohol/physical.
A full UK licence is required for this role. Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.

- CSCS card (Desirable. Full training to be provided)
