Search Healthcare are recruting band 6 - Registered Mental Health Prison Nurse on an Initial 12 week contract.
Job description:
To provide specialist mental health interventions to service users in the prison.
The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload, including assessments, care planning, delivering interventions and reviewing care of patients located within the prison with a mental illness, within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team and Care Programme Approach.
Post holders are expected to work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team to provide advice and support to primary health care based within the prison and to liaise with, and provide advice and support to statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Requirments:
- Full time position with the house 08.00am-16:00pm
- £30 an hour, weekly pay
- Inital 12 week positon with the potential of ongoing work.
- Essential Prison Clearance
- Experience is Preferable
- Start as soon as possible for 12 weeks.
- Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing BA(Hons)
- Prison Clearance
- A member of the NMC council, with a valid Pin.
- The right to work in the UK
- Proof of Immunisation/vaccines
