Job Title: Children's Residential Team Leader

Location: Leyland, Lancashire

Salary: £31,692 - £36,192 per annum

Reporting To: Registered Manager

This is a very supportive provider with all their homes located locally ensuring colaborative working and the ability to pick up extra shifts in other homes. Furthermore training is done as a wider team giving you the opportunity to know everyone but also progress within differnt properties.

About Us: At our Leyland location, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support for individuals with emotional and challenging behaviors. We believe in maximizing each individual's potential while respecting their wishes and promoting a fulfilling life.

We solely operate 2-3 bed EBD homes all within a short distance of eachother allowing our entire team to help and support each other. We are also strong believers in training and internal progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in providing care and support services
  • Ensure each individual's needs are met through effective assessment and care planning
  • Support individuals in decision-making and promote choice and involvement
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for managing challenging behaviors
  • Uphold health and safety standards and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in residential childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Full UK driving license (desired)
