Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering activities related to the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft wheels and brakes. This role requires daily attendance at our site to support business operations and ensure project milestones are met. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in defining and implementing engineering strategies aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement engineering strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide technical direction and leadership across engineering projects.
- Collaborate with MRO, Compliance, and Operations departments to ensure alignment on company objectives.
- Integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with EASA, CAA, TCCA, and industry standards in all engineering practices.
- Implement best practices for reliability, maintainability, and safety in MRO operations.
- Support the Compliance Monitoring Department in assessments and reviews of the Organisation's Capability Listing.
- Collaborate with executive management to identify growth and innovation opportunities within the MRO sector.
- Communicate engineering updates, challenges, and successes to senior management and stakeholders.
- Advise on OEM and internal technical training requirements for engineering and support staff.
- Collaborate with customers and regulatory bodies to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Represent the engineering team at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.

Education and Experience:
- Degree level education (preferably Masters) in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent NVQ Level qualification.
- Fellow or Chartered Member of an industry-related Professional Body.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership.
- Ability to add value, reduce costs, and drive business improvement.
- Understanding of aerospace regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); ERP software experience is an a
