As a Disability Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to become an expert assessor and report writer. Whilst working autonomously, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering high quality functional assessment report for PIP.

About the role

As a Disability Assessor, you'll carry out a mixture of telephone and face-to-face assessments with claimants covering a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. Working independently, you will be using your clinical skills to assess, examine, talk, listen, and submit detailed reports of health conditions affecting their daily life.

Our assessors combine the highest levels of integrity with extensive clinical knowledge to offer the best service possible to our customers.

Essential skills include strong report writing, excellent communication, organisation, and time management. Proficiency in typing and the ability to navigate various IT systems are also required.

What we look for

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • 1-year post-registration experience
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions
