Pertemps are recruiting for a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to support a busy summer turnaround project at a residential building in central Bristol.
This is a short-term contract ideal for a reliable individual who can deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring rooms and communal areas are refreshed and ready for new students.

BS1 - Central Bristol
Contract Dates:
Temporary Assignment ( 4-8 weeks )
ASAP START - FRIDAY 4TH JULY
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00
Pay Rate:
£15.77-£18.40 ( DOE ) per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and painting bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and communal lounges
- Filling holes, sanding surfaces, and applying undercoats where necessary
- Touching up scuffed walls, woodwork, and damaged surfaces
- Repainting entire rooms as needed to a high standard
- Ensuring clean and tidy workspaces with proper protection of furnishings and flooring
- Working to tight deadlines and prioritising high-turnover rooms
- Liaising with the maintenance team to report or flag other repair needs
- Supporting general turnaround duties as required, such as minor maintenance or room checks
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, preferably in residential or accommodation settings
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to quality finishes
- Comfortable working in occupied or recently vacated rooms
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
