- Accruals and prepayments
- Preparing Journals
- Preparing and consolidating financial statements
- Analysing and reconciling accounts
- Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
- Evaluating and implementing cost reduction measures
- Assisting in budget preparation
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Supporting audits and resolving discrepancies
- Participating in the development of department goals and strategies
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
