Overview of a Compensation Manager

The purpose of this role is to provide overall reward expertise in benefits, recognition and wellbeing, with the focus being compensation.

Responsibilities of a Compensation Manager

  • Benchmarking and Job Architecture: Benchmark new roles, manage job architecture, and oversee position evaluations.
  • Compensation Management: Handle the annual salary survey, review salary bands, implement salary reviews, and manage payroll changes.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare gender pay reports, manage compensation module improvements, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Collaboration and Best Practices: Work with the wider team to research and implement best practices in reward and compensation processes.
  • Project Support: Assist with data collection for miscellaneous projects and support benefit-related projects as needed.
