CMA is pleased to partner with this local SME in its search for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The role primarily focuses on purchase ledger activities. Still, it offers plenty of variety, including sales ledger and general finance tasks across multiple entities. You will join a friendly finance team reporting directly to the Financial Controller using Sage 200. This is an exciting opportunity to support a company during its early stages.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Code and process a high volume of invoices onto Sage.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Weekly payment run.
- Allocate receipts.
- Credit control.
- Monthly review of sales ledger.
- Verify CIS.
- Processing staff expenses and credit card statements.
- Ad hoc tasks.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Happy to get stuck in and support the wider finance team.
- AAT preferred but not essential.
