In this role you will be fault finding, servicing and maintaining cranes used across the shipyard. This is including fault finding and repairing PLC systems and other heavy plant equipment. You will play a part in the operation of the site and to ensure all equipment is correctly maintained and in line with compliance.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with an understanding of PLC's and is electrically qualified, ideally with a maintenance background in heavy plant / Industrial environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable with working at heights.
The Role:
- Electrical Technician
- Fault finding, servicing and maintaining PLC systems within heavy plant equipment and cranes

- Working on a 12 hour shift pattern, covering days and nights - averaging 10 shifts per month
The Person:
- Understanding of PLC within technical working environment
- Candidates from heavy plant/ industrial/ forces/ manufacturing/ production environment or similar are encouraged to apply
