Trade Compliance Analyst
We're seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to join our clients Customs and Trade Compliance team for an initial 6-month assignment, likely to be extended. This is a full-time temporary role (37.5 hours/week) role, primarily remote with occasional on-site work (every 2-3 weeks) in Daventry, Darlington, or Huddersfield.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations.
- Monitor import/export activities and gather necessary data for licenses.
- Collaborate with brokers and government agencies to maintain compliance.
- Prepare and analyse trade documentation and data.
Requirements:
- Logistics/shipping knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and proactive approach.
Must-Haves:
- Clear communication
- IT skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
- Pro activity
Education & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
