Cabling Shift Engineer - Leading International Data Centre (London Docklands)

A leading international data centre in London's Docklands is seeking a skilled Cabling Shift Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge technology.
What you'll do:
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fibre optic cabling infrastructure within the data centre environment.
- Perform fusion splicing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cabling faults efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
What you'll need:
- Extensive experience in fusion splicing is essential.
- Solid experience in copper termination.
- Proven experience in cabling within the telecoms industry.
- Strong testing and fault-finding skills on all cable types.
- GCSE level education or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications:
- City & Guilds 3466-04 Datacoms cabling part 1 or BTec equivalent.
- City & Guilds 3466-02 & 03 Fibre Optic installation and testing or BTEC equivalent.
- Health & Safety in the Workplace.
- Working at Height.
- Lifting & Handling.
