Insight and Analytics Analyst Apprentice

Overview:
Due to continued growth, RPS have created a truly exciting role which would provide fantastic growth opportunities for a keen an passionate individual to come in and make the role their own.

This role will be within the Insight and Analytics team, reporting to the Head of Strategy, Insight and Data and will involve working closely with stakeholders across the membership, education and marketing teams. You will need to be analytical, collaborative and tenacious.

You will work across a wide range of stake-holders, will learn to understand how data and insights can be shared most effectively to convey results and improve understanding.
You will be instrumental in turning raw data into actionable insights that inform decision making across membership.

Working week: 35hrs a week.

The main purpose of the Insight & Analytics Analyst will be to generate insights on our membership data. They will be responsible for deriving insight from product usage as well as marketing platforms. This insight will inform key strategic and operational decisions.

Duties: [the apprentice will be responsible for:]

  • Analysing data from a broad range of sources to identify trends in membership behaviour.
  • Translating complex data insights into clear, concise reports and dashboards.
  • Creating visualisations for key stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Conducting analysis and interpreting the results to uncover valuable insights that address opportunities within the membership.
  • Continuously improve analytical processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and insights generation.
  • Providing timely insights, enabling faster decision-making changes, ensuring reports and dashboards are delivered to a high standard.
  • Gathering feedback from stakeholders to evaluate the quality, relevance and usefulness of the insights provided.

What we are looking for:
In order to be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an interest in analysing problems
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, the ability to work independently
  • Great verbal and written skills that can be tailored to a wide range of audiences
  • Comfortable and able to work with data
  • Ability to work to a deadline
  • Experience working within a team

Entry requirements:
Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
