Graduate Marketing Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Graduate Marketing Assistant to join a forward-thinking sales and marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have completed a related Degree in Marketing and have some hands-on work experience. The role will include copywriting, email marketing, and social media.

This role requires a creative thinker who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be happy to also undertake the administrative side of the role. The Marketing Assistant will learn and develop new marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. Salary: £23 - £26k per annum dependent upon experience.

Mon - Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday finish at 2.30pm.

Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays

Training: On site / on the job

Duties

  • Develop and execute social posts and content to promote products and services.
  • Create compelling copy for various platforms including websites, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Schedule posts and manage social media accounts to increase brand awareness and engagement, in particular Linked In and Instagram.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
  • Get involved in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 - 12 months experience in a marketing role, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • Ideally to have a Marketing Degree or similar
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to target audiences.
  • Familiarity with WordPress for website management and content updates. (Training given)
  • Experience in email and social media marketing writing, scheduling and positing.
  • Demonstrated ability in writing engaging and compelling social media posts.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent use of written, verbal and grammatical English, with exceptional communication skills.
