Annual Salary: Band 7 £34,969 - £37,756

Start date: September 2024 or as soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year (You may be required to work one in three weekends which will be paid as overtime.)

Aston Education is working with an oversubscribed Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Bexley looking for a full-time Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities team.

As a Facilities Manager you will lead a team responsible for the day-to-day arrangements for maintenance and upkeep. Your duties include health & safety, future planning, utilities provision, site security, compliance, reporting, event setup and cleaning to ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for learning at the school site.

You have a Health and Safety Certificate e.g. IOSH and a Trade Qualification is desirable. You have experience in a similar role in a school and a good knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance for planned maintenance/health and safety, including the writing of risk assessments. You are an effective communicator and confident in using IT.
