Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, overseeing their daily operations and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Manage and organize data from Salesforce and other sources, ensuring accuracy in spreadsheets for use by account managers and customers.
  • Take ownership of data-related processes, including importing, formatting, and preparing data files, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate communication between the team, account managers, and customers, ensuring clear and timely exchanges.
  • Drive improvements in existing processes, identifying and addressing any data anomalies, and suggesting solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Oversee the creation of quotes, service contract decommissioning, and order creation in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, balancing team responsibilities with hands-on data analysis as needed.
  • Work 2-3 days from home, with the remainder at our central Birmingham office.

Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of data analysts or similar roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in MS Excel, including advanced data sorting, manipulation, analysis, and formulas (e.g., VLookup).
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (creating reports, contracts).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with various business levels (e.g., Non-technical Directors, Business Analysts, Executives).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, delegate tasks, and drive team performance while meeting project deadlines.
