Compliance Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Compliance Manager to oversee compliance procedures and ensure our not for profit organisation adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. The candidate will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of our business as well as providing guidance on compliance matters.

Description

An experience Compliance Manager will be part of the team in Bristol and they will:

  • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR departments
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Respond to prospect queries and build relationships with potential partners
  • Assess company operations to determine compliance risk
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

Profile

A successful Compliance Manager should have:

  • Experience of managing compliance within another not for profit environment
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus but not a requisite
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or Anti-Bribery & Corruption)
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Integrity and professional ethics
  • Teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail

Job Offer

Based in Bristol

  • Salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
