Sales & Marketing Manager

INTRODUCTION

Our client, an award-winning and rapidly expanding commercial flooring supplier and installer, is looking to grow its existing team with the appointment of an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager. A fantastic time to join a business in a positive transition and growth period.

LOCATION

Hybrid role - approx. 2.5 days from an office near Wandsworth and 2.5 days remote or client facing.

• Ideal home locations: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, London.

THE JOB ROLE

The Sales & Marketing Manager role takes responsibility for leading, growing and the operational effectiveness of the company's sales division. The role entails:

• Overall responsibility for the success of the sales division of the business.
• Leading a team of 10 which includes field salespeople, an operations, finishing and distribution team and customer support team.
• Supporting sales delivery by taking responsibility for one sales channel or territory (customers: architects, designers, A&D, contractors, developers).
• Identifying opportunities to drive sales and margins into commercial projects.

THE PERSON NEEDED

For the Sales & Marketing Manager role our client is looking for someone with a related background who can set a strategy, deliver goals and lead by example. Experience needed:

• Prior sales experience within a construction, building indistry, interiors, architectural or related background.
• Senior level sales / commercial team leadership experience.
• Confidence and experience with broader operational business management.
• Ability to take overall responsibility, but maintain a hands-on, team-orientated approach.

THE REWARDS

£55-70K Basic salary (depending on experience) +10-15K Bonus

Expensed car or car allowance, company pension, opportunity for equity after 6 months.
