Account Manager

Location: Harlow

Working Hours:

  • Standard Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday. Role Overview: As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of client relations, ensuring that all customer needs are met with the highest level of service. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients, working closely with suppliers, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients. Act as the main point of contact and provide clients with accurate and timely information.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work alongside suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure the best possible deals for clients.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure client satisfaction by delivering excellent service, addressing concerns promptly, and managing expectations effectively.
  • Sales and Account Management: Leverage sales experience to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within existing accounts and explore new business possibilities.
  • Problem-Solving and Negotiation: Utilise strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and clients.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Keep thorough records of client communications, transactions, and account activities.

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyse situations, resolve issues, and negotiate effectively.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales and account management, with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electronic components and supply chain processes is essential. Experience in the aerospace or defense industry is a valuable asset.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
