Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire. On-premises.

Infrastructure Support Team Leader Key Skills:
We are eager to connect with experienced hands-on Infrastructure Team Leaders, Senior IT Support Engineers, IT Technical Support Leaders, and other seasoned IT support and infrastructure management professionals.
To excel in this position, you must possess many of the following:
- Good understanding of Windows Servers, Linux and Apple MAC operating systems.
- Experience in designing and implementing SAN, NAS and Archive systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work within and lead a team.
- Experience providing 1st - 3rd line technical support.
- Good understanding of backup technologies and experience in developing a backup strategy for high-volume data.
- Experience liaising with specialist software suppliers.

About the Infrastructure Support Team Leader position:
You will be a crucial department member responsible for managing the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This includes providing expert technical support and managing backups, data capacity planning, and the DAMS IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of DAMS and ensuring all components are fully functional.
- Managing and supporting Windows and Linux Servers.
- Providing expert technical knowledge and guidance on Network Operating Systems (Windows Servers), IP and associated network environments.
- Undertaking the development and management of all systems support and administration.
- Managing the flow of large data volumes and ensuring efficient storage solutions.
- Collaborating with IT Operations to resolve internal IT issues.
- Leading and mentoring a team of one, fostering their development and performance.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £50-54,000

Work arrangement: Hybrid. Four days in the office and one day working from home.
