We are currently looking for a Senior Data Officer to join our property services department. You will lead a team of Data Officers to provide the delivery teams within Property Services and the wider business with information and data required to meet targets and support the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy by reporting on progress against targets and providing data as required.

You will also be responsible for producing forecasts and performance reports for bpha Senior Leaders and will be part of the management team in the Asset Investment team within Property Services.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for asset data quality; ensuring good quality and accurate information about bpha stock is collected and maintained. To ensure data integrity is maintained, and that data management systems and data collection methods are in place across the department.
  • Property Services champion for data integrity and data governance; Super user of asset management software; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of all available modules and consistent functionality across the organisation. Key link between asset management system and other bpha interfaces.
  • Manage preparation of planned programmes of work that will ensure stock continues to meet the appropriate government standards and legislation for quality and energy efficiency.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating the collation of Key Performance Indicators for the Property Services & Compliance department; collating evidence to support this and implementing a robust data validation procedure.

We'd love to meet someone who is:

  • Highly numerate with an excellent practical knowledge of statistical techniques, data manipulation and reporting
  • Methodical, articulate, and inquisitive
  • A good working knowledge of MS office, Excel in particular, and other specialist software packages
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels
  • Proven track record of managing a team; leading and motivating them to achieve their objectives and follow bpha's values.
  • Knowledge and experience of asset management and property H&S requirements in social housing
  • Experience of programme planning and management
