A smashing role has become available for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a global business in the local area. Managing a team of Drivers and Warehouse Operatives, you will be leading from the front as this role is very much a hands-on position.

Role responsibilities:
- Plan, pick, coordinate, and monitor material processing
- Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity targets
- Effective Driver Management, Coach and motivate ensuring the fleet of drivers will adhere to company policy procedures, Health and Safety guidelines and security processes
- Conduct regular stock control checks and ensure inventory accuracy
- Optimise the utilisation of resources, space, and mechanical handling equipment
- Maintain high standards of quality control
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are consistently followed within the work environment
- Perform key holder responsibilities, including securing the facility
- Uphold strong housekeeping standards
- Flexible to suit the demands of the business
Candidate requirements:
- Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks
- The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- A clean, full driving license is desirable
