Graphic Designer / Creative Digital Designer / Artworker who has experience working within the creative industry, preferably in an artworker role is required for a long-established publisher based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands.
SALARY: up to £25,000 per annum
LOCATION: Kirkby-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands (100% Office Based)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Graphic Designer / Creative Digital Designer / Artworkerwho has experience working within the creative industry, preferably in an artworker role.
Working as the Graphic Designer / Creative Digital Designer / Artworker you will use the Mac to create artwork from supplied briefs through to the design of full publications.
As the Graphic Designer / Creative Digital Designer / Artworker will be a natural self-starter who is self-motivated and enthusiastic; happy to get involved in a variety of plans and projects, driving them forwards to completion.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Graphic Designer / Creative Digital Designer / Artworker include:
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project briefs and requirements
- Present concepts and finished ideas to internal clients
- Develop creative artwork for online and offline activity
- Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all design elements
- Utilise design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), to create visually appealing and engaging designs
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry best practices
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project execution
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience within the creative industry, preferably in an artworker role. (Previous publishing creative is desirable)
- A strong desire to learn and progress within the sector
- Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, mainly packages, InDesign & Photoshop
- Methodical approach to archiving images and artwork
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and to make decision and prioritise workload appropriately
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Good web design skills
