Here at Contract Personnel, we are recruiting an experienced Domestic Gas Servicing & Heating Installation Engineer, to join our national award-winning client, based in Norwich.
My client is a specialist in renewables, with a strong focus on efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint. Due to being an independent company, they are able to provide a vast range of products that can be tailored to any client's needs.
The Role
Salary: Up to £39,780 p/a
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (no call-outs)
Locations: Norwich (base), covering East Anglia
Benefits: Company van with fuel card, tools provided, PPE and uniform provided, full training provided, local-based work – within a sensible distance of Norwich, working week of 37.5 to 42.5 hours, work usually based in domestic settings, a feiendly working environment with a healthy work/life balance
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Time served as a Heating Engineer
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Current Gas Safe qualifications – CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CPA1
- Unvented hot water certificate
- Strong communications skills
- Punctuality
- Self-managing or team working
- Full, clean UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of renewables (training will be provided)
- Heat pumps – BPEC qualifications
- Understanding and experience of heat pump installations
- Leadership experience – training apprentices
- Willingness to be trained in MVHR
