This role has a starting salary of £26,777 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.

We are excited to be hiring a new Administration Assistant. to join our fantastic Tandridge Locality team. The team is based in Oxted.

This is a 18-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity.

About the Team
The local area is quite rural, but we are based right on Oxted High Street with free parking at the back of the building. Within our team we work with an array of adults with varying cognitive and physical impairments and also includes working with paid and informal carers, family members, and multi-disciplinary professionals.

Our day-to-day role is to assess people's care and support needs and any informal carers under the provisions of the Care Act 2014. Through this assessment, we determine eligibility and build a support plan of care that best works for an individual and their situation. We have a wealth of knowledge and varied experience within our team and are well known for our supportive culture that we hold for all our team members within Surrey County Council.

About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a front-line operational team. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you will be expected to deal with complex telephone enquiries and a wide range of correspondence and scanning duties. Additionally, you will be asked to take notes, and minutes of meetings and be entering data on both the mainframe database and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Passion for customer service and your desire to support both the team and wider Surrey residents
  • Sound knowledge of IT packages such as Excel, Word, and databases and your quick and accurate data entry skills

  • Note-taking and minute-taking skills
