Pay Rate
£17.94 - £19.77 per hour.
Hours Per Week:
37 hours per week Monday to Friday
Home Working, hybrid or within a local office.
Pertemps South Wales is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a public sector client based in Wales. This role offers the flexibility of home working, a hybrid arrangement, or working from an office in Wales.
The successful candidate will support the people management activities within the directorate. You will have a pivotal role coaching managers, team leaders and staff in the use of all the clients People Management Policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of People Management practices.
- Be confident and be able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within the organisation.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and staff on the utilisation of all people policies and practices, with the goal self-sufficiency.
- Actively develop relationships that build trust and confidence within the business.
- Proactively recognise trends and leverage your professional expertise to address issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support the delivery of key initiatives within the Directorate and across the organisation.
- Analyse, interpret and identify trends and issues to help implement meaningful people management support and interventions.
Required skills and experience
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 Intermediate)/Associate Member of the CIPD or equivalent level HR Qualification, or equivalent level of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience of people management legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good working relations across all levels to build trust and confidence across the organisation.
