Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Baby Room) - Full-Time Position

Empowering Learning is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading Children's Centre in Islington, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner. This full-time role is based in the Baby Room, supporting children aged 0-2 years, and is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for babies.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning and development, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support the personal, social, and emotional development of each child, catering to their individual needs.
  • Build positive, strong relationships with parents and carers, encouraging their involvement in their child's development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere in the Baby Room.
  • Keep accurate observations and records to monitor children's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential).
  • Previous experience working with babies in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to childcare.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
