Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a 1-year contract to support the Head of FP&A in delivering financial and non-financial insights, focusing on variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for sales departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with senior executives and finance teams.
  • Meet tight reporting deadlines, ensuring full accounts by day 2.5.
  • Support annual statutory audits, M&A activities, and new ERP implementation.
  • Deliver annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and a 5-year Long Term Plan.
  • Provide detailed management reporting and variance analysis in both UK and US GAAP.
  • Act as the primary contact for business units, ensuring budget adherence and scenario planning.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Industry experience desirable but not essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in UK & US GAAP, able to interpret new accounting treatments.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong risk analysis and impact assessment skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with all internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Independent problem-solver, able to delve into inconsistencies.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in supporting projects from start to finish.
  • Team Collaboration: Hands-on management style, willing to work closely with team members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing multiple work streams and tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Effective in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • Accuracy: Highly accurate, precise, and organised.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
