Job Summary
We're seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a 1-year contract to support the Head of FP&A in delivering financial and non-financial insights, focusing on variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for sales departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with senior executives and finance teams.
- Meet tight reporting deadlines, ensuring full accounts by day 2.5.
- Support annual statutory audits, M&A activities, and new ERP implementation.
- Deliver annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and a 5-year Long Term Plan.
- Provide detailed management reporting and variance analysis in both UK and US GAAP.
- Act as the primary contact for business units, ensuring budget adherence and scenario planning.
Experience and Skills Required
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Experience: Industry experience desirable but not essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in UK & US GAAP, able to interpret new accounting treatments.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong risk analysis and impact assessment skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with all internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Independent problem-solver, able to delve into inconsistencies.
- Project Management: Proven track record in supporting projects from start to finish.
- Team Collaboration: Hands-on management style, willing to work closely with team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing multiple work streams and tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Effective in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
- Accuracy: Highly accurate, precise, and organised.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
