Finance Director UK

IPS Group are partnered with a well-established Insurance business who are seeking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their expanding team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the overall running of the Finance department which will entail montoring business performance, monitor cash flow, overseeing the planning process, managing the audit process, develop financial models, working with underwriters on premium reporting, preparation and submission of monthly reporting.

Main Duties:
- Control the company's annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met.
- Oversee the preparation of the financial accounts to these are accurately presented on time.
- Ensure that the statutory returns are prepared and submitted.
- Produce monthly bordereau reporting to the Underwriting division.
- Produce and submit necessary regulatory returns.
- Work with the Commercial Director to set and implement pricing policies and commercial agreements.
- Responsible for the monthly and quarterly close of the financial statements and reconciliation of accounts.
- Responsible for producing monthly/quarterly financial statements.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum ten years' experience in a Financial Controllership or Director position.
- Experience in the Insurance sector is a pre-requisite.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CIMA)
- Exceptional Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
