Accounts Supervisor | Maidstone, Kent | £40,000
Our client, a successful, well-established business is seeking to recruit a Accounts Supervisor to join their friendly and long-standing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team in a busy role with the potential to take on additional responsibilities.
- Management of Accounts team - 3 Accounts assistants.
- Treasury Management - Payment approvals and bank reconciliations.
- Monthly Payroll - Summarising/Checking/Paying payroll/posting journals and paying CSA/other deductions of Earnings
- Processing weekly timesheets allocating costs to correct projects
- Maintenance and Management of Fixed Asset register
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Creating and managing projects within Sage 200, maintaining correct contract values and contract budgets.
- Quarterly VAT returns for 3 companies
- Monthly CIS returns and issuing monthly subcontractor statements
- National Statistic returns
Skills
- Financial experience within a Manufacturing/construction background (desired)
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulation
- Passionate and confident with continuous improvement ethos
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent IT and financial systems skills
- Experience of working in a cost-conscious environment
- Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
