Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Design engineer for our client based in the Stoke on Trent area.
You will be using Solidworks so experience with this software is essential. Experience in a sheet metal environment would be advantageous in this role.
You will be required to:
- Product detailed drawings and designs with Solidworks
- Evolve Designs into functional prototypes
- Collaborate with the team during pre-production phases.
- Assist the project manager in preparing costings (usually with excel)
- Assist in the creation of BOM in the ERP system.
Experience in a sheet metal environment would be advantageous for this role.
