Job Purpose

To process orders and liaise with customers within the sales division, ensuring that customer queries and orders are managed promptly, accurately, and effectively. This role aims to meet and exceed customer expectations and raise satisfaction levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Receive and process sales orders and acknowledgements. Follow orders until goods are delivered/invoiced, including delivery confirmations, shipment handling, and invoicing.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Liaise and negotiate with customers.
  • Commission Handling: Manage commissions for given products.
  • Quotations: Issue official quotations.
  • Account Management: Assist with managing sales accounts as requested by the Assistant/Divisional Manager.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Assist with various sales duties, including holiday cover for the division and support for the sales managers and team.
  • Import Administration: Handle import administration tasks.
  • Sales Reporting: Run sales reports.
  • Distribution Support: Assist with distribution tasks, such as handling post.
  • Service Administration: Support the service administration function as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Sales Administration: Proficient in managing sales orders and customer interactions.

  • Software Proficiency:

  • SAGE X3

  • Sage SEI

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Teams

  • Web portals for purchase orders/invoicing

  • eCommerce platforms

  • Adobe Standard or Adobe Acrobat DC (editable version)

  • Teams/Zoom
