People Services - Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Due to maternity leave, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house Talent Acquisition team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Role: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Liverpool, Hybrid

Job Type: Fixed Term Contact (12 Month Maternity cover)

Salary: £32,346 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be focusing on the full life cycle of recruiting, including succession planning, sourcing, candidate screening, management training, legal compliance, and reporting.

This role concentrates on long-term recruiting strategies, looking for the future, being proactive as well as reactive with recruitment needs. The Senior TA works with line management and the Human Resources department to plan for hiring and internal candidate development.

What you will be doing:

  • Support Resourcing Business partner to deliver best in class recruitment for the business line.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Advising on appropriate routes to market, candidate attraction, CV shortlisting and managing interview feedback.
  • Candidate advice and support at offer stage right through to on boarding.
  • Champion direct hiring through a variety of channels and creative sourcing strategies, such as social media, LinkedIn etc.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with stakeholders, RBP's and the wider People team.
  • Build and grow comprehensive internal and external networks.
  • Critically analyse the firm's approach to resourcing and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Take a leading role in the conception and delivery of recruitment projects.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current employment legislation and ensure that recruitment policies/procedures are updated in line with best practice and changes in legislation.
  • Ensure that all recruitment is undertaken in line with the firm's recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Ability to deputise for resourcing business partner as needed.
  • Undertake analytics, external benchmarking research and reporting to inform plans and framework development.
  • Support talent attraction campaigns and cohort management.
  • Work with colleagues to bring a talent and capability lens into the wider organizational development strategy and to deepen own understanding of how the connected elements contribute to organisational capability growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a range of recruitment from volume to individual
  • Core HR skills and knowledge gained in a previous entry level HR role.
  • Rounded experience gained from working within a HR Function or alongside in a recruitment
  • or talent development capacity.
  • Microsoft office skills desirable but can be developed within role.
  • Collaborative and able to work with a range of stakeholders productively to deliver
  • outcomes.
  • Good communication skills, able to express ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Curious, self-aware, open to feedback and willing to learn.
  • Able to take initiative and display resilience and perseverance to deliver.
  • Able to apply discretion and judgement.
