IT Infrastructure Engineer - Caerphilly - £40-45K
An exciting opportunity to join an MSP servicing a range of customers from various business sectors. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing and delivering Cloud Solutions for new & existing customers.
The role
- Troubleshoot system & network issues- offering solutions for hardward & software failures.
- Provide 3rd Line level support.
- Microsoft 365 Administration and Troubleshooting.
The skills and experience we're looking for:
Significant experience in:
- O365, Azure (iIaaS)
- Designing and implementing Windows Server Technologies including Virtualisation
Desirable skills/experience
- MSP Experience.
- Helpdesk/IT Support (telephone/remote support) experience.
- Professional certifications in Microsoft 365 or Azure (or working towards).
- Firewall and Network Security Technologies.
- Hyper-V, VMWare, SAN, NAS.
- Microsoft 365 Administration / Migrations.
- Strong understanding TCP/IP networking, including experience with routing, VLAN, VPN, Wireless.
- Experience of VOIP telephony systems.
- Automation and Scripting using PowerShell.
- Cyber Security Experience and familiarity with Cyber Essentials Certification Protocols.
