I am recruiting a Commercial Finance Director for an entrepreneurial and growth orientated property company based in northwest London. The current structure consists of three Shareholders, and they need a Finance Director / Operations Director with a commercial bias to support their progress; ideally you will have aspirations to lead the business in the future as their Managing Director.
The business has expanded through acquisition with two future acquisitions planned later this year, therefore you must be an ambitious individual able to grow personally, whilst influencing and driving growth in the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with the shareholders to aggressively expand the property portfolio.
- Ensuring that all financial statutory requirements are met.
- Managing relationships with existing and new lenders; making sure that all reporting requirements are in place and no covenants are broken.
Your profile:
- A qualified accountant with previous experience gained as a hands-on Finance Director where you have supported Founders / Directors / Shareholders. A significant amount of your experience must have been gained within the real estate / property sector.
- A strong leader with a track record of delivering on commercial initiatives. I will need to see experience of where you have had a positive influence on a business which has resulted in growth (i.e., acquisitions, increased profitability etc.).
- Innovative, proactive, ambitious, driven.
