An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced development finance broker to develop your career further with a growing successful business.
Our client takes pride in forging direct relationships to secure unique funding lines, including access to HNW private lenders.
They focus on development and refurbishment loans starting from £1m with no upper limit, on all asset classes, industrial and commercial through to specialist residential. Their approach is transparent and honest and tailored to the requirements of the project and borrower.
Job description:
- Liaising with clients to build and maintain relationships for repeat business
- Having great relationships with lenders
- Focussing on development finance loans of £1m up to £50m
- Working with all types of development finance (industrial, commercial, specialist residential, residential)
- Structuring different creative solutions for the clients
- Ensuring each project is packaged fully to enable lenders to provide the best possible terms
- Company/director checks, comparables, understanding of appraisals and cash flow forecasts
- Building a pipeline from the database, initially through making calls to assigned contacts
- Being able to exceed call targets
- Helping to improve the processes
Key requirements
- Previous experience with specialist property finance, development funding
- Lender relationships
- Deal packaging skills
- Strong negotiation skills
Additional information:
- Hertford - 4 days office, 1 day wfh (there are plans for a London office in due course)
- Monday - Friday, 9-5pm
- Salary - up to £50,000 basic for somebody with extensive experience, up to £40,000 for somebody newer
- Attractive commission structure
- Holiday entitlement: starts at 21 days
