Join a vibrant well-established team as an Academic Education Manager. If you enjoy variety, a busy diary and working alongside a team who work collaboratively then this could be the role for you. This role is working on a full time 18 month contract.

Role Profile

To manage the Partner in Learning Scheme for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). To work proactively with HEIs to inform them of the benefits of the scheme and to seek new opportunities for partnership working. To lead in developing the strategic direction of the scheme, ensuring all HEI partners feel valued, encouraging routes into the ACA for their students.

Responsibilities include:

  • To manage and monitor the growth and development of the Partner in Learning scheme for HEIs, collecting feedback and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • To maintain the benefits and resources of the Partner in Learning scheme and seek opportunities for development by monitoring effectiveness and impact, staying updated on HEI trends and implementing best practice.
  • To organise and deliver the annual HEI conference and student events. To represent ICAEW at university open days, learning conferences such as BAFA and CDAF and the Academic & Education Online Community working group.
  • To act as the primary contact for HEI Partners in Learning. This role ensures efficient handling of day-to-day queries as well as the requirement to meet regularly with our Partners in Learning face to face and online to build on our exceptional working relationships.
  • To support the Head of Learning and Professional Education Manager in supporting existing and new strategic degree partnerships.
  • To support the ICAEW Foundation in the identification of HEIs suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries and maintain links with academics responsible for bursary arrangements at the HEI.

Candidate Profile

Requirements include:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Degree level qualification desirable
  • Experience of multiple stakeholder management
  • A good understanding of issues facing HEIs
  • Experience of managing administration processes
